Then you can choose the image type (Release), version (9.x or later), and file name (asav*.ova or asav*.qcow2). The ova file is for VMware platforms and the qcow2 file is for KVM platforms.
How to Install Cisco ASA VM Image on VMware Workstation?
To install Cisco ASA VM image on VMware Workstation, you need to have VMware Workstation installed on your PC. You can download it from VMware Customer Connect . You also need to have enough disk space, memory, and CPU resources for the ASA VM. The minimum requirements are 8 GB disk space, 4 GB RAM, and 2 CPU cores.
